Core Curriculum Community Development Programs

You can find there materials here: http://www.core-curriculum.org/communitydevelopment.html

Spiritual Parenting
Participants in this innovative Spiritual Parenting Program find encouragement to fulfill their role as primary educators of children, establish the spiritual practices of prayer and daily readings in the home, practice the skills of encouraging, guiding, educating and training their children, and pursue their own ongoing spiritual and practical development as parents. Also a valuable program for grandparents and other caregivers.

Spiritual Foundations for Marriage and Family Life
Two distinct courses are available, a course for married couples, and a course for individuals preparing for marriage. These courses address marriage as the foundation for vibrant and loving family life, the bedrock of growing communities. Marriage workshops relate self-knowledge to success in marriage, develop the skill of consultation, explore roles and relationships within marriage, and offer strategies to solve problems and preserve marriages.

Race Unity
Race Unity workshops, based on direct study of the Bahá’í sacred texts, establish loving, spiritual environments for addressing the complexities of the most challenging issue in America, and training Bahá’ís and others in actions that foster unity in firesides and public meetings, and in every aspect of community life.

Equality of Women and Men
Equality workshops assist participants to identify and implement effective strategies for promoting equality in our communities and in the world at large. These strategies include exploring the meaning of equality and the necessity for cooperation and mutual support among women and men, fostering equality in marriage and in Bahá’í community life, raising children to live out the principle of equality, and teaching this principle to others. Through each of the four modules, learners practice active, practical steps to promote gender equality in the home, the Bahá’í community, and in every field of human endeavor.
