Special Offer for Youth: Youth are at the Forefront! We would like to honor youth efforts by offering them a special package this year. Any youth who pre-registers will not only receive half off their registration fees, but also receive a welcome bag. This year, special attention, nurturing and inspiration for connecting to other youth worldwide in their teaching efforts will be at the forefront of our classes. A coffee house will set the stage for a nightly discussion group.
Musical Guest: Badi, who comes to us from Boston and just released his first hip-hop album, both Baha'i inspired and aimed at the general population. His music is uplifting, and deals with the struggles of living a Baha'i life in a swiftly eroding society. Badi is also a Ruhi tutor, a year of service volunteer, a jr. youth animator, and a participant in the four core activities. He plans to meet especially with the youth and jr. youth. Speaker: Dr. Littlebrave Beaston on “The Life of the Guardian”
The focus will be on Shoghi Effendi’s life, his sacrifice, service to the Faith, struggles, challenges, and how he remains centrally relevant as an example to Bahá’ís today. The purpose of this topic is to deepen our connection with Shoghi Effendi so we’ll be inspired and motivated to continue studying his writings and be faithful to the Administrative Order he strived to create and build.
