Location: Rock Eagle 4-H Center, Eatonton – Nestled in the pines of the Oconee National Forest and near the 19,000 acres and 300 miles of shoreline of beautiful Lake Oconee is The Rock Eagle 4-H Center.

Named for the Rock Eagle Mound and shaped like a prone bird, the mound is a stone effigy measuring eight feet high at the breast and consisting entirely of milky quartz rocks. It was probably built about 2,000 years ago by Native Americans for religious or ceremonial purposes.

This summer it will host the recreation, study and fellowship that are the hallmarks of the Georgia Bahá'í Summer School. The study focus for the children, youth and adult program will be achieving the goals of the Five Year Plan using practical applications of the skills surrounding the core activities

Presenter: J.B. Eckle – providing inspiration, understanding and practice

Service projects to connect junior youth and youth with the local community.

Fees: Full-time attendance with lodging and all meals is $150 for adults, $140 for youth and $130 for children. Separate costs are available without meals, or for camping or day students – please contact the registrar for these amounts.
