Lighting the Way: Essentials to Put the Five Year Plan into Action —
Building the Kingdom of God on Earth
 The
National Spiritual Assembly chose “Lighting the Way: Essentials to
Put the Five Year Plan into Action” for the most current annual theme,
and continues to offer it as a means to direct the study and provide resources
throughout 2003-4 as well. This compilation addresses some of those most
essential themes that provide a foundation for study and action as a part
of the Five Year Plan. It has been organized around four topics: The Mission
and Destiny of America — Sacred Responsibilities; Individuals Living
a Spiritual Life; Making Real the Promises of our Faith; and Aligning
our Efforts with the Major Plan of God.
Our hope is to provide, through these materials, a combination of inspirational
writings and a forum for sharing of resources and experiences across the
country so we may learn from each other as we strive together to put the
Five Year Plan into action throughout the country.
We are pleased to share with you this document.
